The Epiphany School’s Annual Gala was held on Friday April 11th. It was a very special day to celebrate a school that’s working wonders educating and empowering Boston’s youth. H2knO representatives had the honor of attending the gala and enjoyed connecting with the community in such a celebratory environment.
We were seated with some of the childrens' families and proud to hear of their support towards the H2knO program. Specifically, we enjoyed the company of Makda's family as she is in our program and a star! The event was highlighted with 3 speeches by 8th grade Epiphany students who stole the show. The 300+ audience was moved by the heartfelt and well-spoken speeches, which prove the Epiphany School's success. Hearing their personal stories touched our hearts and we are so thankful to work with these 8th graders.
In addition, the students joined us as we gave water bottles to Governor Deval Patrick and his wife Diane who showed a lot of appreciation for our program and confirmed with our students the importance of water.
